Kratsa Properties owns three convenient locations; Harmarville, Warrendale, and Bethel Park. Harmarville was opened in 1992 and was the first twin-ice facility in the Pittsburgh area. Due to the enormous popularity of this facility, two more locations were developed.
The Warrendale facility was opened in 1994 and Bethel Park in 1995. Blade Runners in Warrendale, Pennsylvania is the premier ice-skating facility and family entertainment center in Western Pennsylvania.
Blade Runners in Warrendale is home to several amateur, high school, and college hockey organizations. We are the home of the North Pittsburgh Youth Hockey as well as North Allegheny, Seneca Valley, Mars, and Ambridge high school hockey organizations. In addition, we also facilitate the Slippery Rock University Men's and Women's Collegiate Hockey Clubs.
Blade Runners opens it's doors annually to over 400,000 patrons who visit out facility for hockey games, tournaments, figure skating, speed skating, birthdays and our popular public skating sessions.
